Uncharted 4 is everything you want in a classic swashbuckling adventure. You have the ruggedly handsome, effortlessly charming, slightly goofy yet sharp-as-a-whip main lead; exotic tropical locales that ooze mystique; ancient tombs filled with convoluted yet compelling puzzles; and pulse-pounding, ridiculously over-the-top action sequences liberally sprinkled with first class humour.

Hidden in Plain Sight ticks all of those boxes, blending them into an hour-long gleefully exuberant roller-coaster firing on all proverbial cylinders.

From Nate’s hilariously endearing interaction with a Lemur, to exploring a cryptic pirate tomb in an old clocktower, to a high-speed chase that has you leaping from one speeding vehicle to another, to tangling with a cannon-armed APC, it is the perfect demonstration of exactly why the series is as beloved as it is.

It is also the ideal example of what a first class Triple-A developer can do with all that Triple-A financial grunt – hire the best people, working with the best tools, to meticulously craft the best product imaginable.

But above all Hidden in Plain Sight is fun, pure and simple, the ideal antidote to gaming gone cynical. So grab a copy or fire up a Lets Play; you wont regret it.
