10 Essential Tips For Actually Enjoying Mass Effect Andromeda

2. Don't Return To The Nexus Unless It's Absolutely Necessary

The Nexus is Andromeda's equivalent to the Citadel from the original Mass Effect trilogy. An expansive cityscape that acts as the home base for the entire Milky Way population, the Nexus should be a vibrant and bustling station filled with brilliant people making inroads in this new galaxy.

But it isn't.

Instead it's a hub world that's built around busywork. Not only will the game have you spending hours here completing pointless little tasks for people you don't care about if you're the completionist type, but just navigating the location itself can be needlessly frustrating.

Split into three main areas rather than one large seamless hub, returning to the Nexus brings the entire game to a standstill, and while there are a few cool quests set aboard the space station (almost always tied to the main narrative or loyalty missions), you don't want to be taking any extended stays here.
