10 Essential Tips For Actually Enjoying Mass Effect Andromeda

9. Only Talk To The Characters You Care About

Unlike previous Mass Effect titles, the cast of characters that make up both your squad and the crew of the Tempest is slightly smaller in Andromeda, but the amount of interactions you can have with them is just as robust as ever.

However, while you might be used to interacting with every one of your crew members after main missions in previous games, you shouldn't be talking to everyone just for the sake of it.

The substandard writing means that oftentimes these interactions go nowhere, or have nothing unique to offer, which combined with the lifeless animations, makes engaging in their dialogue options a bit of a chore.

The game just isn't paced well enough to make returning to these characters feel rewarding, so instead you should find the crew members you're interested in and focus on them, as not only does not engaging with the game's multitude of lifeless husks cut down significantly on wasted time, but it makes the interactions with the people you actually enjoy getting to know, feel way more rewarding.
