Ever wondered what a reality-bending menace with powers akin to Superman would be like?

Well, The Evil Within is the game for you. Look no further than the horribly scarred lead antagonist Ruvik.

Sporting a white hood and bad intentions a mile wide, Ruvik brings the game's main character into his mindscape. It's a surreal and terrifying world within Ruvik's disembodied brain. Sebastian Castellanos, the game's protagonist, becomes the subject of intense meddling, threats and outright violence courtesy of the increasingly unhinged Ruvik.

As intriguing as this baddie is, and as harrowing as his horrific childhood tragedy origins are, his near omnipotence for much of the game's plot, coupled with his sinister attitude, make him very killable.

There's an argument to be made that the Mobius corporation are the true scumbags of this game. While it's a valid point, we see little of them, especially in comparison to Ruvik's ever so punchable face. Even when Sebastian doesn't have to face him head on, Ruvik's got something even worse up his sleeve like an enormous monster born out of his twisted subconscious.

By the time the player gets to crush Ruvik's disembodied brain (and you thought your own brain in Old World Blues caused a bit too much trouble), there's a sense of relief in knowing he probably won't be back for the sequel.
