10 Evil Video Game Characters Who Saved The Day Anyway

1. The Dark Urge - Baldur's Gate 3

The Dark Urge from Baldur's Gate 3, like Sarevok Anchev, is a spawn of Bhaal born with an inherent need for committing unspeakable acts of violence.

And like their older brother, Dark Urge may also choose to denounce their unholy heritage to try and do good in the world!

It seems rebelliousness runs in the family just as much as murder does.

The Dark Urge origin is mainly focused on how your character deals with the Bhaalspawn heritage. You may choose to embrace it to receive great boons from your dark father or oppose him in fear of losing yourself to the insane violence brewing in your head.

Choosing the latter option and sticking to it will lead to an interesting turn of events where your character will be able to actually overcome their nature and save Baldur's Gate, becoming an unlikely hero in the city's time of need.

The path of defiance is a story-rich and greatly entertaining experience that comes with its own fair share of rewards, so if being a villain just because you were born with it isn't for you, the alternative is definitely recommended.
