10 Evil Video Game Characters Who Saved The Day Anyway

3. Evil God - Black & White 2

Black and White 2, like its predecessor, puts you in the role of a god of a lost tribe. Your goal is to help your people survive, but how you do it is really up to your own imagination.

Because in the game, both good and evil ways of godhood can do the trick.

It is completely up to you if you want to be a benevolent protector of the Greek tribe under your command or the tyrannical oppressor who guides them through punishments and acts of sadistic whimsy.

The evil route is genuinely a viable way for being a "good" god (that is, a competent god), as you can turn your people into a force to be reckoned with and ensure no one will ever be a threat to them again.

By conquering and destroying the other competing civilizations, you can turn the Greeks into a superpower and fulfill their wish to survive their impending doom, even if you do it by means of sacrifice and spreading fear.

It’s like being the divine version of the monkey’s paw. You grant people their wish, and then you make them wish they didn't get what they wanted.

But hey! You're still their savior!
