10 Exceptional First-Person Shooter Games That Defined The Last 10 Years

1. Bioshock Infinite

In BioShock Infinite, you play as former private investigator Booker DeWitt, who's hired to retrieve an extraordinary girl named Elizabeth. To do this, you must travel to the wonderfully beautiful and misunderstood world of Columbia, which is located - rather inconveniently, perhaps - in the sky. When you first see it, Columbia is an artist city of pure bliss. It's as incredibly detailed as it is fun to explore, too. Dewitt is thrown into the majestic world without a clue of where to find his 'client'. All he knows it that he must bring her back alive in order to collect his reward. Elizabeth is as naive and sweet as she is powerful, something Dewitt quickly learns. Another one of the many awesome features are the weapons that Booker can purchase, along with the vigors he gains along the way. Vigors give him magical powers that turn him super human, a nice touch. Another aspect of the game that makes the floating city fun to explore are all of the skyline rails. These rails allow you to travel to different sections of the city, adding a level of mystery and excitement to an already amazing game. The rails are not only exciting to use, but they help enhance the traveling and gameplay experience. What's the best part of the game? Undoubtably, the ending. I won't ruin it for those of you yet to play it , but the ending is so crazy that it's almost hard to believe that the developers went down such a route. Bioshock Infinite is a must have title for any game lover, FBs fan or otherwise. It refuses to disappoint. Like this list? What have we missed? Let us know in the comments section below.
