10 Most Extravagant (Or Just Plain Stupid) Pre-Order Gaming Bonuses No One Wanted

3. Xbox One €“ The Day One Achievement

While not necessarily a pre-order bonus, this is a gift that almost required a pre-order to obtain, based on demand in whatever area the purchaser resided. You've no doubt heard of the day one achievement, and if not, this is a purely commemorative extra; added to bait loyal Xbox followers and collectors who would daftly be pushed one step closer to becoming early adopters simply because it gets them an achievement they'll have no other shot at obtaining. First of all, you're looking at a bonus that is worth absolutely nothing. Zero gamerscore. Zero practical use. Sadly, these have sold well on eBay, ironically finding a monetary value despite simultaneously proving how worthless they are as anybody could redeem one after-the-fact; early adopter or not.
