8. Alternate Skellige Dialogue - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Although The Witcher 3’s open world gives you the freedom to explore it however you like, when it comes to its main storyline, most players would agree that it feels a lot more linear. Doing quests out of order seems to be discouraged, but you actually can do it!
It even makes for some interesting changes to the story!
If you ignore the high level cap of the main quest in Skellige, you may choose to skip pursuing Ciri’s trail in Velen and travel to the islands to meet with Yennefer right away.
This will cause the dialogue at the start of the Skellige questline to change in order to accommodate the fact that you ignored Yennefer’s request to snoop around no man's land.
When you arrive on the main island, the sorceress will ask you why you have come to her so quickly, to which Geralt will reply with his usual suaveness by telling her he missed her too much.
Some other dialogue options will also change, providing you with a brand new experience when traversing Skellige.
So don’t be afraid to switch things up a little. The only thing to fear are the high-level Skellige enemies that will turn your low-level witcher into a pulp.
