10 Fanboy Reasons To Be Excited About Hitman

1. It Reeks Of Blood Money

To most Hitman fans, Blood Money was the perfect Hitman game. The levels were sandboxes by nature, objectives could be completed in multiple ways, and everything just came together in stunning fashion to create a well-rounded, sneaky experience. Something many will be delighted to hear is that the new title has a lot in common with that 2006 release. Naturally, gaming has moved on in many ways in the past decade. To ignore that would be foolish, so the developers have turned Hitman into a game which fits the current gaming climate. Nobody can have a problem with this, why wouldn't they choose to do that? Blood Money has aged well, but it has obviously still aged. Hitman just seems like an apology to those who found Absolution like too much of a departure from Blood Money's winning formula. IO have simply taken that game, combined it with the best parts of Absolution and spat out what should be an absolute cracker. Some of the silliness of Blood Money's dialogue and situations still remains, and it contrasts mightily (in a good way) with the serious tone of the assassinations. Are you looking forward to the new Hitman game? Do you agree that Hitman: Absolution derailed the series a little? Let us know what you think down in the comments section!
