9. Crackdown
It's easy to forget this is even coming this year - and as of yet the 2015 date is just that; a month-less confirmation from last year - but it stands to reason that Microsoft will be putting their all into reviving what was once a system-selling franchise. The series itself has seen one stellar first instalment only for its
sequel to be much more of the same (but not in a good way). Adding a wingsuit to aid your traversal around the city was a paltry addition when you had the scope to spec out super-soldier cops in far more inventive ways, and although Crackdown 2 was solid enough, last year's reaction to a third entry is very telling of how forgettable the last instalment really was. Giving it the benefit of the doubt and factoring in Microsoft's awareness of what fans wanted with C2, who wouldn't check out a superheroes-in-the-city tale where you lob cars at fleeing perps before pounding the ground and leaping off to tackle another district's worth of crime, snagging a few collectable orbs along the way? Exactly.
