10 Fantastic Video Games You’ll Never Play Because They’re Too Hard

10. Bloodborne, Demon's & Dark Souls

Fresh out the gate, FromSoftware's spectacular Victorian England-styled Gothic adventure is something sprawled all over the likes of Kotaku, Polygon and IGN right now - and for good reason; it's absolutely spectacular. Essentially being Dark Souls III in all but name, the Souls games overall have garnered quite the reputation for being utterly impenetrable unless you've got the mental fortitude to withstand near-constant failure and a barrage of unrepentant bleakness.
The best things in life are acquired tastes though, and as anyone who's sat down with either a Souls title or Bloodborne can attest to, learning the mechanics of your animations, picking and choosing where to stand, which weapons fit the situation and exactly when to attack and withdraw from a boss is an exhilarating experience like no other. Bloodborne (and the Souls series overall) will constantly knock you to the ground if you're not careful or get too cocky, but there's always an outstretched hand sturdy enough to grab onto if you've got the guts.
