So heresy, despite offering so pretty tasty gold trim on your spiky armour, is a big no no in the Imperium of man and usually buys you the business end of a bolt pistol for your troubles should even THINK about it. Literally.

However if you're really unlucky you'll be sentenced to a process called Arco-flagellation. Here, the heretic in question undergoes extensive surgery and mental conditioning to transform them into a frenzied berserker that is often aimed at the enemies of the Imperium like a fleshy beyblade.

Limbs are removed and replaced with whips and flails, muscles strengthened and augmented to deliver devastatingly strong blows and chemical vials are implanted to enhance aggression and loyalty to the Emperor. And to top it all off they are then lobotimised to remove any higher brain function. That's right you're cognitive through the whole painful process process I've just detailed, only to have everything that makes you, you scrambled and flushed out.

It sounds awful right? Well that's what you get for sneezing in the prescence of an Inquisitor!
