10 Fighting Game Bosses That Made You DESTROY Controllers

6. Gill (Street Fighter III: Third Strike)

Tekken 7 Kazuya Vs Heihachi
Capcom

Look at this jackass, this two-tone banana hammock wearing boss of Street Fighter III. He's not the worst boss on this list but he has probably the worst gimmick.

Gill's move set is closest to Urien's, who is already quite a difficult character to fight on harder difficulty modes, but he also has control over fire and ice. Any of his fire moves do a ton of damage right out of the bat, but it's his ice moves that put you at a disadvantage. Street Fighter III has a dedicated stun bar under each character's health, so when Gill his you with an ice move, you can see just how much stun damage it does.

Gill also has several super moves he can execute when his super bar is full. He can rain down multiple projectiles, or sprout wings to emit an aura that does a lot of damage at a surprising range. But by far the worst trick Gill can do is resurrect himself after you land the final bow.

It's possible to interrupt this attack so he doesn't heal fully, but it's really difficult to do reliably thanks to the wind pushing you back!

David Irwin hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
