10 Final Fantasy VII Moments We Can't Wait To See In The Remake

6. Shinra Mansion

Final Fantasy VII Mototbike Chase
Square Enix/Sony

Not only is the Shinra mansion memorable because it's where you get Vincent - who just so happens to be my favourite character in the game -  it's also got a very creepy, haunted house feeling about it that somehow fits perfectly into the Final Fantasy VII world.

The Shinra mansion is where all the crazy Jenova experiments occurred, which we saw via a series of flashbacks featuring Professor Hojo. Even though the character models looked far from great in the original version, it was hard to take your eyes away from what was going on due to the storyline.

Obviously the graphics are going to be significantly better in the remake, but the introduction of voice actors during this specific part will add a whole lot more dramatic flair to the back story instead of the players having to read the text in their head.

Sure, it was fun during the time, but hearing the tragic story of Jenova told through the voices of Hojo (which I imagine will be exceptionally chilling) and Vincent will make this part feel much scarier than before.
