10 Forgotten Gaming Characters Nintendo Needs To Revive

3. Doshin The Giant

1365811-gkdp01_30 Here is another one of those characters you could collect the trophy of in Super Smash Brothers Melee, think, hey, this guy€™s game looks cool, and then never get to play it. The Smash Brothers games, through their trophies, characters, items and stages, are like some of the ultimate tributes to Nintendo's video game history, including these forgotten characters. Doshin the Giant was released to positive reviews for the 64DD in 1999, before getting a GCN rerelease in 2002. Sadly, it never came to North America either time, despite getting positive reviews in Japan and selling quite well. It DID make it to Europe during its rerelease though, so all you gamers across the pond are lucky. Nintendo needs new characters and concepts, and Doshin would be a great one to revive. It€™s been proven that people like his game and character, so it€™s surprising a sequel was never made. Bringing it to North America now would be an interesting move as Doshin doesn€™t have any brand recognition here. They could remake the original game or just reboot the character and game. Wii U or 3DS, a Doshin game could work on either. I say do it, Nintendo, I mean, who wouldn€™t want to play as that lovable yellow giant?
