10 Forgotten Pieces Of Gaming Tech
9. Sony Bravia KDL-22PX300
And the hits keep coming. This was a TV Sony released in 2010 for around £200. And it wasn’t a bad piece of kit either: it had a 22 inch 720p display, it featured four HDMI ports, three USB ports, plus VGA and components inputs as well as a built in Freeview tuner and an Ethernet connection allowing the TV to access YouTube and other services that were available at the time.
But that’s not why the X300 is on this list, oh no. The reason the X300 is on this list, is because it had a freaking PlayStation 2 built into it. Which is incredible if a bit odd, seeing as the then much more powerful PlayStation 3 had been out for a full four years. Now I don’t know what Sony were doing when they came up with this, but I would be 100% down for them to do it again now.
