Then:

In 1997, we were introduced to one of gaming’s unlikeliest heroes in this loveable Mudokon. Born into an existence of slavery at the ominous Rupture Farms – a meat processing conglomerate with some iffy HR policies – Abe’s mission is to liberate his colleagues and start a better world.

All with his mouth sewn shut and a tendency to skulk around in the shadows. Offering a mix of stealth, Lemmings-like puzzle, platforming action and not forgetting those wonderful cut scenes, Abe and his many odysseys are the definition of cult.

Now:

The last time Abe punched in with us was with 2014’s New ‘n’ Tasty, a glossy remake of Abe’s Odyssey (his first adventure), which was released on the PlayStation 4 in its infancy.

While this has since been rolled out over the last few years on the Vita and Xbox One, fans need a new adventure. There is hope, though, as Soulstorm is due to arrive this year, which is promised to be a new take on earlier title, Abe’s Exodus. Squire, saddle up that Elum.
