Making their first appearance in 1996, lovable marsupial Crash Bandicoot has since become an instantly recognisable part of gaming history, whose colourful platformers are adored by all who've played them.

The Crash Bandicoot franchise has seen a resurgence in recent years, with the N Sane Trilogy and Crash Team Racing Re-Fueled introducing a new generation of players to Crash and friends. Part of this series that remains buried in time, though, is Crash Bash.

Although this was the first Crash Bandicoot game not to be developed by Naughty Dog, Crash Bash nevertheless took the series’ zany style and humour and combined it with the sheer chaos of Mario Party. The result was a party game that was an absolute blast to play alone or with up to three other friends.

From attempting to knock rivals off a tilting sheet of ice, battling in tanks, or defending a goal with a hovercraft, each of the six game modes and their variations were as fun as they were challenging, especially when trying to master each level.

With this game's only legacy today being unique character Roo appearing in Crash Team Racing Re-Fueled, Crash Bash needs to make a comeback as soon as possible.
