10 Franchises We Need To See Given The Lego Game Treatment
8. Game Of Thrones
Like other franchises on this list Lego Game Of Thrones is certainly unlikely to be ever made due to it being based on mature adult source material from the books and television show. However with a few adjustments and taking inspiration from the way Lego Lord of the Rings toned down a lot of the darker themes, it might not be such a wildcard suggestion. Firstly it takes place in a fascinating world which would be really interesting to explore in an open hub world similar to what TT Games did with Middle Earth. Such an open world would also give the developers a chance to flesh out and improve their side-quests as there are many fascinating stories that could be told outside of the main story mode. Also the vast array of characters of all shapes and sizes could all have their own unique abilities reinforcing the focus on unlocking collectibles and hidden items. Obviously such a release would have to be toned down from its source material. Almost all sexual content could however be removed as to be honest none of which in any Song of Ice and Fire book is an essential part of the overall plot. In fact most of the relationships in the story could be represented without sexual content providing an opportunity for the much loved Lego sense of humour. Like other more mature titles on this list the violence can also easily be toned down as mini figures do not bleed and can simply rebuild themselves if they lose a limb.
