10 Future Telltale Games Series We'd Love To See

Jenji Kohan's popular prison comedy Orange Is The New black has gained an incredibly loyal fan base through the Netflix series alone, having just released it's fourth season this month.

Centring on a collection of female inmates at the Litchfield correctional facility, OITNB has an incredibly diverse cast of characters all from different racial and sexual backgrounds, of which all are often struggling to live in such close proximity to their fellow inmates. I think a Telltale series in the universe could work from the eyes of a brand new character, entering the gates of Litchfield and having to adjust to prison life, and all that that implies.

Fan-favourite characters from the show like Piper, Vause, Red, Taystee and Crazy Eyes could all make appearances and your gameplay choices will determine how you build relationships with each. A Bioware-style romance system could also be considered, as fans of the show will know; these ladies are often involved in more than the odd frisk in the darkest corners of the prison.

With OITNB being a comedy at heart, this could make the classic Telltale Games dialogue tree system a non-stop-shop for biting humour and in-jokes, although the show does touch on dramatic story elements which could be implemented alongside.

The nature of the TV show would also mean players would take the role of a female protagonist, something that is often considered to be lacking from a lot of modern video game releases.
