10 Games That Will Inevitably Disappoint Us All In 2013

10. Watch Dogs

The first thing you'll notice about Watch Dogs after watching the gameplay videos and trailer is that it seems to be a love child game. It's not a unique game, it's not a new idea and it's definitely going to be a hit...with me anyway. A few minutes into the gameplay demo and I noticed similarities between two games Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. You're playing as Aiden Pearce, a hacker slash assassin who uses his cellular device to access the city's central operating system and use any electrical device to aid him. Whether it's a mobile phone, security camera or even a car; he can access them all and turn them against their owners. I won't lie, the gameplay looks rather fun but I enjoyed both the games this one is similar to so why wouldn't I love this one? Even though the gameplay looks fun, I have this inkling that the story is going to be pants, not just any pants, but dry uninteresting corduroy pants. There's nothing Ubisoft can really do with this game to make it interesting, how can they possibly make the story involving and entertaining? Is Aiden going to hunt down anyone who's evaded the law, we've seen that already? Is he going to hijack a woman's phone and find out that she's a millionaire who's defrauding the tax-man by paying a lower income tax? There isn't much you can do with a story like this, but then again Ubisoft have yet to disappoint me... well, at least not in ways that have me questioning the future of humanity anyway so I'll try and be optimistic for this game.
