10 Games That Will Win Major Awards In 2015

10. Battlefield: Hardline

Award It Will Win: Best Multiplayer Battlefield: Hardline has an uphill struggle on its hands. Battlefield 4 is renowned for its multiplayer struggles and it took EA nearly a whole year to finally deliver a satisfactory experience. To top that off, long-time developers DICE are taking a step back from the series (presumably to focus on Star Wars: Battlefront) with Visceral Games taking on the brunt of the development work. With the odds seemingly stacked against it, many are ready to write Hardline off already. That might work in the game's favour though. After all, it's well known that Battlefield can deliver a memorable and exciting multiplayer experience - a quality return for the series could silence the doubters and surprise many. Hardline's new 'cops and robbers' approach to the series could also be the refreshing twist that Battlefield needs. Four new game modes have been announced for the game, all inspired by the 'war on crime' motif - Hotwire, for example, is a variant of Control, where both teams battle to capture and protect vehicles. With the popularity of multiplayer games and modes ever increasing, many titles will be vying for the 'Best Multiplayer Game' award in 2015, but Battlefield: Hardline might just have the creative edge needed to beat the competition. The game desperately needs to launch without any technical hitches but Visceral's new take on the Battlefield formula looks set to win a lot of people over.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
