10 Games That Will Win Major Awards In 2015

9. Evolve

Award It Will Win: Best Original Game Originality is sorely lacking in gaming nowadays; that's why Evolve is so highly anticipated by many. It picked up a bunch of awards at E3 in 2014 and, despite a delay, looks set to one of the first must-have games in 2015. The premise of Evolve is really interesting - it's a five-player game where four players control human Hunters battling against a player controlled Monster. If that idea sounds vaguely familiar, it's because the development team Turtle Rock Studios were also responsible for the exceptional Left 4 Dead. Evolve's focus on 4v1 gameplay is what really makes things interesting though. The Monster might not have the numbers advantage but it has the ability to evolve and grow in power by killing smaller creatures, strengthening abilities and unlocking new ones, allowing it to dissect the Hunters and eliminate them one by one. The Hunters also have their own abilities too with a class system in use to give each player a role within the team. The variety of abilities and classes will make strategy essential for success in Evolve and it makes the 4v1 formula even more exciting as players bid to outsmart and outmaneuver their opponent. After a poorly received Alpha test, many people seem to be on the fence about Evolve. Few can question the originality and creativity behind the title though and those factors are going to make it stand out in 2015.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
