From Poker to throwing horseshoes or inventing that knife game where you attempt to jump between fingers without stabbing yourself, Red Dead Redemption is full of gambling opportunities. But none are as great as Liar’s Dice.

Essentially, everyone has a cup with five dice in it. You shake the cup, slam it on the table and you have to make a bet as to how many of a certain number are face up. Get called on your bluff or call someone’s bluff falsely, and you lose. Last person standing wins. Simple.

That’s until you get into the mind games as you try to cheat the system, trying to figure out what die are face up in your opponent’s cups based on the psychological reasoning behind their guesses. Using luck, chance and cheating the system ever so slightly, you can quickly become engrossed in match after match.
