10 Gaming Franchises That Deserve To Be Revived

Donkey Kong may have been famous for his love of throwing barrels, but it was Fox McCloud who became synonymous for doing barrel rolls in his iconic Arwing.

But sadly Fox McCloud is another example of a once prominent and popular video game character from Nintendo that has seen better days.

The most up-to-date Star Fox game fans got was Star Fox Zero back in 2016, which received mixed reviews that mostly centred around the game's questionable decision to incorporate key mechanics with every feature on the Wii U’s Gamepad.

Since then, Fox McCloud fans have only gotten to see their ace pilot as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. But the Switch could be the perfect platform to launch a new Star Fox game. Nintendo could return to the classic on the rails style gameplay the series is known for, or create an open world game where players can explore planets both in an Arwing and on foot.

Regardless of what they decide to do, fans will just be hoping that they will be able to do the series justice and create a game worthy of the Star Fox franchise.
