5. The "Princess" - Fallout 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHYqwiPw3Ok&feature=player_embedded "Are you Okay?", one of your cohorts asks the, erm, princess, before she emerges out of the darkness and it's pretty bloody clear that no, she is not okay. Not only is she able to float above the ground, her feet moving not an inch, but, oh wait, she also appears to have been turned inside out, resembling one of those anatomy standees you'd find in a biology lesson rather than an actual human being. On the other hand, it is pretty impressive that Bethesda bothered to even render the characters' insides, given how we don't really get to see them even if a character is murdered in a horribly gory way; it seems rather like overkill, does it not? That blank, bloody face, those giant eyes, and all that viscera staring back at us, it's terrifying, again particularly because it seems so normal within the context of the scene. And we'd really love to know why the devs detailed the girl's insides so meticulously; another prank at our expense, perhaps?
