10 Gaming Henchmen More Powerful Than Their Bosses

5. Mr. Tong - Sleeping Dogs

sleepingdogs This is the newest game on the list so be warned, it contains spoilers. If you haven€™t played Sleeping Dogs yet you should skip to the next entry because I don€™t want to spoil anything from this awesome game. It truly was one of the most well written games in recent memory. Ok, with that out of the way, let€™s get down to it. You play as Wei Shen, undercover cop with ties to the triads. You work inside various triad gangs, working your way up the ladder while also informing to the police. Heavily inspired from the Hong Kong classic, Infernal Affairs (remade by Hollywood as The Departed). The main villain of the game is named Big Smile Lee and once he finds out you€™re a cop, he tries to take you out. You€™re beaten and kidnapped, waking up tied to a chair in a construction site. You are then tortured by a man hired by Big Smile Lee and that man is Mr. Tong. He is sadistic, he is soulless and he can back his shit up. You€™ll escape and kill a whole bunch of various triad members, eventually ending up in a bathhouse. Mr. Tong emerges through the steam, giant machete in his hand and it. is. on. This man can block all your special moves and if you make a mistake, you€™re done. He€™ll slice you up quicker than you can say €œdeli meats.€ In order to defeat Mr. Tong, you€™ll have to use all of the skills you€™ve acquired over the course of the game and then take a breath. Defeating Big Smile Lee after this was a vacation.

I'm married and live in New York with my wife and pets. I'm a writer and definitely not a comedian (just ask my wife). I've successfully linked my twitter, goodreads, facebook and google+ pages although the successful aspect of all that is up for debate. I also started my own blog on wordpress and have just finished my first novel, The Violent Winds. Now it's time to try and trick some unsuspecting fool into buying it.
