10 Gaming Moves That Are Simply Humiliating

5. More Like Norman Peedus (Death Stranding)

Death Stranding received a lot of criticism for prostituting itself in exchange for some sweet energy drink dollars at the expense of its (admittedly quite, quite crap) creative vision, but at least it was systemically harmonious.

One way in which Sam Porter can deal with the K-pop menace that is the game's principle enemies, the BTs, is to take an indignant whizz on them. Having loaded up on so much Popular Caffeinated Beverage (or maybe because of gibberish narrative reasons regarding his blood), the courier's pee is toxic. (It'll also make little synthetic mushrooms sprout, but that's a different matter.)

Whipping the chap out and getting a demonslaying stream going isn't always practical, no matter how many Monsters you've chugged, so Death Stranding offers another way to weaponise Norman Reedus' urine. Whenever Sam takes a shower or spends a penny, his various, um, excretions are siphoned down a special drain labelled 'ick', and promptly concocted into effluent but effective grenades. Anyone who has seen the inside of a municipal bus station's lavs will be familiar with the sort of damage they can cause.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
