On the surface, Uncharted 2s Zoran Lazarevic isnt the most appealing video game villain. An internationally feared warlord and Serbian war criminal seeking the riches of the lost city of Shambhala, Lazarevic is a cookie-cutter bad guy, exchanging originality for muscular mass, quirkiness for ruthlessness and as such isnt one of the most memorable villains in recent times. Zoran may be a bit on the dull side, but Nathan Drake who he is racing to Shambhala goes beyond being merely forgettable. The central protagonist and hero of the otherwise superb Uncharted series, Drakes arrogance and constant supply of one liners make him an extremely irritating person to play as for over 8 hours. By the end of the second title in the series, everyone has had more than enough of the buffoon and would have loved nothing more than to see Naughty Dog shock the world and have their golden-boy smoked at the hands of Zoran Lazarevic.
