Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! is one of the most infamously challenging games of its era, but that hasn't stopped a number of players attempting to beat the damn thing blindfolded.

The idea of clearing the game sans-sight, while using only audio as a guide, was first floated by speedrunner "Sinister1," whose numerous spirited attempts to do so saw him fall at the final boss - Mike Tyson himself.

But in 2015, streamer Jack Wedge attempted his own run at Iron Mike, spending a week perfecting his skills while a blizzard trapped him inside his home.

Though Tyson is infamously difficult because he veers away from the set attack patterns of the game's other fighters - making him extremely difficult to battle through sound cues alone - Wedge indeed eventually pulled it off.
