Gremlin Graphics

35 years after Ed Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space hit theatres, Gremlin Graphics decided to turn the property into a video game. In this point-and-click adventure, you discover Bela Lugosi's stunt double has stolen the reels for the Plan 9 From Outer Space movie.

Only by speaking to the locals, hunting for clues, and scouring every nook and cranny will you be able to find the footage, allowing you to screen this atrocious movie to the masses.

At first, you might think this game was created just to win a bet. I mean, we're talking about the original "Worst Movie Ever". Who was asking for a video game based on this abomination?

Amazingly, this adaptation captures the spirit of Ed Wood's work, without sinking to the same level of inferiority. Now, there's no point saying this game is better than the film because... let's be honest.... it's not exactly a high bar, is it?

But is Plan 9 From Outer Space good in its own right? For the most part, yes. Because of the tongue-in-cheek humour, you'll find yourself chuckling throughout your playthrough. With over 70 locations to explore, dozens of NPCs to chat to, and tons of puzzles to solve, this title is bound to keep you far more entertained than the movie did.
