10 GORIEST Mortal Kombat Fatalities You Can't Handle

6. The Scarecrow - Sektor (MK9)

The missile-blasting cyborg ninja, Sektor, made a welcome return to the franchise in Mortal Kombat 9 after being absent for years. (I know he was in MK: Armageddon but, come on, that doesn't count.)

If you ask anyone who has played MK 9 what is the coolest thing about Sektor, they'll most certainly say his finishing move, The Scarecrow. For this Fatality, the cyborg launches a device onto his opponent's chest.

Sektor then enters a code on his arm, causing the device to separate into six pieces. The device opens so violently, it forces the opponent's arms, legs, head, and torso to disconnect from from each other.

What makes this Fatality so cool is the player has no idea what's going to happen until it's too late. When Liu Kang turns into a dragon, we know he's gonna eat the other fighter. When Kano's eye glows, it's obvious he's going to blast his opponent with a laser.

But when Sektor unleashes this device, the player assumes it's going to explode, making it all the more satisfying when the opponent is ripped to shreds in such a violent and creative way.
