7. The Beatdown - Quan Chi (MK9)
Quan Chi's Leg Beatdown Fatality in Mortal Kombat 4 is one of the most hilarious finishing moves in the whole franchise. It was so popular, it was re-used for Mortal Kombat 9. However, this version is a lot less funny and a lot more gruesome.
As Quan Chi grabs his enemy's calf, you can hear the cartilage twist and the bones crack as the leg is ripped off. As Quan Chi's rival feebly crawls away, the evil sorcerer whacks them with their severed appendage with such force, it causes their head to burst. Just to add insult to lethal injury, this ferocious strike is shown in glorious slow motion.
Despite the fact his opponent is dead and headless at this point, Quan Chi revels in his victory by repeatedly smashing his opponent's body with their limb over and over. The more he bashes his rival, the more he is slathered in their blood and guts.
Usually, when a Fatality is performed, the winner makes a triumphant pose. But not Quan Chi. The brutal warlock just keeps hammering his opponent until the screen fades to black.
