10 Great Actors Hidden In Your Video Games

Eyebrows may well be raised as to whether Hayden Panettiere truly is a ‘great’ actress. While she’s unlikely to have an Oscar on her mantle when she retires, she was the best thing in both Heroes and Nashville, so deserves a bit of credit.

Panettiere has been around for a surprisingly long time, starting out as a child star and voice actress. It’s these skills she’s applied to the virtual world, voicing Kairi in Kingdom Hearts.

Panettiere voiced the fan favourite character originally, but has since been replaced by Alyson Stoner, best known either from Camp Rock or Eminem’s Just Lose It video.

There’s been considerable controversy over the replacement, with Stoner initially thought to have only been signed on for the spin off games between KH2 & KH3. When KH3 rolled around though, Panettiere was asked by a fan on Twitter if she’d be returning, with Panettiere replying, ‘no one asked me...’

She also voiced Dot in the A Bug’s Life game, reprising her role from the movie. Seeing as the list is called ‘your games’ though, it’s unlikely that applies to A Bug’s Life for too many people.
