3. Ratchet and Clank (Ratchet and Clank Series)
Since Jak and Daxter were on this list, did you really think I wouldn't include these two? There are many reasons they're higher on the list than the former. One being that Clank actually has a more important role than Daxter in terms of the story and gameplay. It also helps that they have an additional trilogy under their belt. Much like Jak and Daxter, they're almost inseparable upon their first meeting, but their disagreements are much more obvious even in the earlier games where the story and character development wasn't in the spotlight. Moreover, Clank was actually separated from Ratchet for two whole games making the situation more desperate. In the end, like a true bromance, Clank leaves all his fated duties behind all in order to keep adventuring with Ratchet as they go off into the sunset. If that isn't love, I don't know what is.
