10 Great Tablet Games

10. World of Goo Sometimes I find that the world we all inhabit just isn€™t gooey enough, it€™s then that I pick up my iPad for some comfort. World of Goo is a physics-based puzzler in which player manipulates balls of goo to create large structures. Building things with goo balls might not sound like too much fun, but after a few levels the game pulls you in. Whether it€™s constructing bridges or towers, avoiding windmills or drops, playing this game is more fun than it sounds. The aim is to get your goo-structure to the exit pipe, a goal reminiscent of the classic Lemmings. An Indie game at heart, World of Goo took a while to make it onto the iPad. Developed by 2D Boy as their debut release it has become one of the most popular and well-loved iPad games. This is good news for the iPad, as it may become the new breeding ground for indie titles looking to make it big.
