10 Great Tablet Games

9. Plants vs. Zombies The surge in popularity of the un-dead across pop-culture in recent years has been astounding, with no medium left unexplored. The reasons behind their newfound favour are unknown, but it is known that if you make a game with zombies in it, it will sell. Plants and zombies usually co-exist just fine, with the brain hungry hobblers leaving vegetation in order to pursue their ambitions of devouring humans, but in this title they are set against each other. The story is the usual zombie outbreak idea in which the player must defend their suburban home, only this time you defend yourself with greenery. At its heart PvZ is a tower defence game, you must strategically place the various flowers, lilies, nuts and weeds on your lawn to protect yourself from the zombies advances. Those who aren€™t fans of the tower defence genre should not be put off, as there is enough added to attract you. From the wacky characters to the lane-based gameplay this one will keep you coming back for more.
