10 Great Video Games That Are WAY Too Long

6. Ring Fit Adventure

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Nintendo

Millions of people are in debt to Ring Fit Adventure since the exercise Switch title released right before the COVID pandemic, where most gyms were closed. The exergame offered a variety of physical activities and incorporated them into the story seamlessly. Also, the motion sensors were pretty much perfect, making the gameplay accessible and fun.

With that said, there are times where's it's hard not to hate this game. Ring Fit Adventure contains a whopping 23 worlds and over a hundred levels. (And that's not including the New Game+ or New Game++). On numerous occasions, you'll be stonewalled in mid-level until you backtrack to another area and achieve a specific objective.

Also, nearly every world has the same boss. Even though this foe diversifies his combat style, it's the same fight in essence.

Most importantly, Ring Fit Adventure isn't a game you can power through. You'll work up such a sweat, you'll be incentivised to call it quits after an hour at the longest and mightn't have the energy to come back to it for a few days. As a result, it takes ages to win Ring Fit Adventure unless you put it on the easiest mode possible.

You'll be so done with it all by the time you reach the last few worlds, you should find the experience as dreary as conventional exercise.
