10 Great Video Games That Are Way Too Short

1. Death's Door - 8-9 Hours

resident evil 3
Acid Nerve

Death's Door centres around a reaping crow, who's tasked with collecting the souls of monsters who are unwilling to part with the living world. Upon investigation, the unnamed bird discovers a potential conspiracy surrounding his employers, which may very well reshape reality.

As the avian reaper makes his way around various ethereal lands, it's virtually impossible for players not to gush over everything they encounter. After experiencing the alluring visuals, creative enemies, intoxicating soundtrack, ingenious puzzles, engrossing story, unforgettable bosses, quirky characters, and hilarious dialogue, this isometric adventure title feels borderline perfect.

That's why it's such a pity how Acid Nerve's heavily underrated game only contains a measly three levels. That's it. Three. Because of this, this Legend of Zelda-inspired title doesn't just feel short, but incomplete. According to Twinfinite, everything wraps up in under 10 hours.

Although the dungeons are beautifully structured and there's plenty to do in the hub world, it's hard to walk away from Death's Door without feeling like it's somewhat lacking. Even if players try to extend the playthrough by locating every secret, finding every upgrade, and completing every challenge, Death's Door can be beaten in no time.
