10 Great Video Games That Are Way Too Short

8. MadWorld - 5 Hours

Nemesis Resident Evil 3
Platinum Games

Bayonetta creators, PlatinumGames, showcased their potential in the gaming industry straight away with their debut title, MadWorld. This hyper-violent beat 'em up makes an immediate impression, thanks to its Sin City art style. The contrasting black and white palette, enhanced by blood splashes creates a captivating aesthetic that's as beautiful as it is gruesome.

MadWorld offers a multitude of creative and gory ways to eliminate foes. Thanks to the intuitive controls and gorgeous graphics, chainsawing enemies in half or obliterating them with OTT wrestling moves never stops feeling satisfying.

The heavy metal soundtrack complements the intense action on-screen, immersing players in the testosterone-pumping atmosphere. With a powerhouse voice-cast that includes Nolan North, Steve Blum, Roger Jackson, and John DiMaggio, the banter between the ensemble is sure to leaves everyone smiling from ear-to-ear.

MadWorld's only real drawback is its length, since it's all over within five hours, according to HowLongToBeat. Now, that's not suggesting it isn't worth checking out. Due to its unique blend of style, violence, and dark humour, this Wii exclusive delivers an adrenaline-fuelled experience unlike any other. Just don't expect the playthrough to last very long.
