Uncharted 4 kicks off in slightly underwhelming fashion with a flashback to Nate and Sam Drake as kids, but soon enough picks up at the start of its second chapter, "Infernal Place," centered around the brothers breaking out of a Panamanian jail.

In addition to being a deliciously entertaining homage to classic prison break movies, the level also provides players with a brief glimpse of Uncharted 4's more wide-open map design, offering up a preview of the gorgeous, sprawling hubs to come later in the game.

The riveting escape dovetails perfectly into the opening title sequence, delivering a blockbuster-caliber introductory set-piece which reunites players with Nate in suitably bombastic fashion.

It may not be as iconic as Uncharted 2's opening train section, but after the game's mildly iffy start, Infernal Place got things where they needed to be.
