Game: Final Fantasy Tactics Cloud Strife is possibly the most iconic protagonist from the entire Final Fantasy series, after starring in the extremely popular seventh entry. Turn-based strategy spinoff Final Fantasy Tactics featured Cloud as a hidden character, who could be recruited as part of the main party. The steps taken in order to recruit Cloud are too long and numerous to list here, making him a particularly tricky character to unlock. Because Tactics takes place on a totally different world to Final Fantasy VII, he has to be found on the other end of a dimensional portal. Which totally makes sense in the narrative of the game's story.
