Game: Mass Effect 2 Morinth is a character encountered in the main storyline of Mass Effect 2. She's an asari that suffers from a rare genetic disorder, which means anyone she mates with will die in the process. Morinth becomes more powerful every time she kills someone in this manner, so she's understandably a dangerous figure to get involved with. She's also one of party member Samara's daughters, and it's in her loyalty mission that you'll eventually have to confront Morinth. At one point, the two will engage in a duel. If Shepard takes the side of Morinth, Samara is killed and Morinth takes her place in the party (without other party members realising.) It's possible to romance Morinth, which can result in Shepard becoming yet another one of her victims.
