1. Jacob Seed Lied About Being In The Armed Forces - Far Cry 5

And finally, it's not exactly a spoiler to say that Far Cry 5's Seed clan is a rotten bunch and frequently full of s**t, though you might be surprised at just how much.

Joseph Seed may be the leader of the militaristic doomsday cult Eden's Gate, though it's his older brother Jacob who truly represents the muscle - an alleged veteran marksman of the United States Armed Forces who served during the Gul War and now trains the cult's troops.

Jacob is rarely seen without his military jacket, which is seemingly the very same one he wore while serving in the Army. Except, anyone with even rudimentary knowledge of military attire will quickly recognise a few glaring inconsistencies in Jacob's duds.

For starters, real U.S. Army jackets don't put the soldier's first initial on the name tag - it would simply say "SEED" rather than "J. SEED" - and his patches aren't consistent with serving in the Gulf War either.

Then there's the fact that Joseph Seed's autobiography, The Book of Joseph, states that Jacob was a Marine, which is contradicted by everything else in the game suggesting he was a member of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division.

While this could simply be a case of Ubisoft screwing things up, ultimately it's easy to accept that the Seeds invented Jacob's decorated past and that Jacob is really just a military imposter - a fetishist pretending to be a war veteran.
