10 Greatest Video Game Trailers Of 2013 So Far

8. Call Of Duty Ghosts

COD Ghosts

Now, this is a trailer that seemed more like a movie. Having said that, the trailer was great and consistent the whole way through: it started off strong with the narration and continued to build a tense atmosphere. The tension in the air did not fade at any point in the trailer and this allowed the viewer to really connect with the voice and the dark theme of the trailer.

The slow introduction and use of music adds to the movie like feel of the trailer, especially in the beginning when all the scenes are in slow motion with the voice over being brilliantly timed making everything dramatic. The drama creates a gloomy atmosphere which keeps the viewer hooked and wanting more this leads to the viewer watching the whole trailer obliviously to satisfy their curiosity, not only does it make the audience want more the trailer also does a exceptional job demonstrating the game's graphics which are very easy on the eye.

I am personally not a great fan of the Call Of Duty series, but even I have to admit that this game looks promising based on the trailer. Not only do the graphics look like they are on par with Killzone but the dark story of the game is captivating.
