10 Greatest Wrestling Games Ever Made

7. Extreme Warfare Revenge - PC

Ewr Definitely the ugliest game on the list - being, as it is, entirely text based. However, also one of the most addictive. EWR separates itself from the other games in that you don't actually wrestle. It's a simulation game. Your job is to run a successful wrestling company, hire and fire the right people and organize the most exciting feuds, matches and backstage segments possible. Okay so casual wrestling fans may be... bored to tears. For true die-hards, though, the depth of enjoyment there's to be had when applying your armchair knowledge to this game, provides a type of interactivity not bettered anywhere else to date. It's not perfect. It's lost a lot of its charm with age. But ten years ago we were all over this for a deeply embarrassing amount of hours. Surely that shows greatness? Hater's gonna hate but we know there are passionate, warmly nostalgic EWR fans out there. We're but a few. Right? The creator Adam Ryland is also responsible for the more commercially presentable Total Extreme Warfare wrestling sims. However, we've never enjoyed another one as much as this. And what's more it's free!
