10 Hardest Alternate Endings In Video Games
6. Batman: Arkham Knight - Knightfall Protocol
It must be tough being Batman. Not for all the trials, tribulations that Bruce Wayne has been through to get where he is, no.
More that he has to abide by his "no killing" rule and not throttle the Riddler with his own cane.
I speak, of course, about the plague of Riddler Challenges that litter Arkham Knight like a glowing infestation.
They were novel in Asylum, they were... needlessly expanded on in City, and now we're racing underground in the Batmobile in Knight. Why? What kind of test of mental prowess is racing through a sewer network?
Better yet, how did the Riddler know Batman was going to use the Batmobile at all?
Sadly, you need to complete all 243 of the damn things to unlock the Knightfall ending in Rocksteady's last Batman game.
Now, I'm aware that "hard" is a subjective word. It's not so much that they're difficult, it's more that they're just an absolute burden to hunt. Some are underground, others inside buildings. There are loads you can't complete until certain criteria or skill(s) are fulfilled or unlocked.
Just... no. I'm not playing your game, Nigma.
