10 Hardest Bosses Of The Decade (So Far)
Wait... Malenia isn't #1??

Defeating a nightmarish boss can be the most satisfying part of a video game. These arduous adversaries serve as progress-blockers, so players need to put everything they’ve learned up until that point into practice to prove they have what it takes to carry on in their journey. Almost every game concludes with a sensational showdown with the hero's arch-nemesis, so taking them down once and for all is a huge relief.
Gaming developers have crafted some magnificent villains since the beginning of the decade, many of which are sure to leave a major impression. Even though these sinister scoundrels will be remembered for their marvellous design and inventive tactics, certain ones stand out simply because they were hard.
Like, REALLY hard.
Although a final boss or a screen-filling antagonist should test your mettle, this sorry bunch took things too far. Boasting cheap ploys, insta-kill specials, and undodgeable incursions, these guys refused to fight fair. Thanks to this lot, players probably saw the Game Over screen more times than they could count.
After losing against these evildoers over and over, players deeply regretted not playing on Easy Mode.
10. Raven Beak - Metroid Dread

Throughout the Metroid series, the galactic bounty hunter, Samus Aran, has butted heads with countless wicked fiends, including space pirates, sentient brains, and a few clones of herself. So, it's bold but accurate to suggest Metroid Dread's primary villain, Raven Beak, is the hardest of the bunch.
This malevolent Chozo may be brutal, but he's also fair since he telegraphs every attack. However, your reflexes, timing, and precision needs to be impeccable, since Raven Beak never lets up, pulling off one calamitous manoeuvre after another.
The avian crusader has many ingenious tactics, including one technique where he blankets the arena with an energy-sapping wave. Samus must stay close to Raven Beak to avoid losing health, making it easy for him to pummel the space-faring heroine. There are times where he's invulnerable, so Samus can't do anything except wait him out.
Raven Beak has so much health, he needs to be targeted with five missiles at once to make a dent. Of course, it takes a few seconds to lock onto him with all five missiles, leaving Samus in a constant state of vulnerability.
The main reason why this brawl is tough is because there are no shortcuts. The only way to come out on top is to hit Raven Beak with everything you got, don't waste your finite ammo, time your movements, and counter quickly.
