5. The Impossible Pack - New Super Mario Bros. 2
Many players were disappointed with New Super Mario Bros. 2, arguing that it was far too easy. It seems like the developers took this criticism to heart since they pumped out multiple downloadable course packs that cranked the difficulty up so high, even your arch-enemy, Bowser, would say, "Hey! Give Mario a chance!"
The hardest DLC has to be The Impossible Pack, which actually consists of three stages. Not only does this trio of levels assault you with spikes, lava, instant-death pits, and every villain residing in the Mushroom Kingdom, there are no coins or power ups to help you. Worst of all, you have to dash through the most preposterous obstacles possible in a super-tight time limit. It's one of those levels that's so unrealistically tough, it's stressful just watching someone else playing through it!
If you haven't perfected every move, especially the wall jump and the spin jump, don't even attempt The Impossible Pack. The slightest hesitation or mistimed jump will most certainly result in the player being impaled, crushed, chomped, or melted. If you thought NSMB2 wasn't challenging enough, think again.
